Terms of Use

Last updated: September 14, 2026

These terms apply when you use Pose Party. By playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the game. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information.

Who can play

Online games (1v1 and Party) are for players 13 or older, because they send your live video to other players. The game asks your age before your first online game; give your real birth month and year. Players under 13 can play Solo with a parent's permission. If you are under the age of majority where you live (18 in Ontario), a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

Play safely

You play Pose Party by moving your whole body. Before you play:

You are responsible for your own safety, and for the safety of the space you play in.

The game is free and still in testing

Pose Party is free. It is still being tested, so it can change, stop working or close at any time. The AI will sometimes get a pose wrong. If the game asks for an access code, keep the code private and share it only with people you invite.

Be good to other players

In online games, other players see your live video. You must not:

There is no public matchmaking: you only play online with people who have your room code. We cannot see or check the video between players, so share your code only with people you know and trust. If someone makes you uncomfortable, leave the room. You can report a player who breaks these rules to us at [email protected].

Streaming and recording

You may stream or record your own games of Pose Party, for example on Twitch or YouTube. Before you show another player's video or photos, get their permission. If a player is under 18, get permission from their parent or guardian.

Do not misuse the game

You must not:

Your video and photos

Your video and your image stay yours. When you play online, you let the other players in your room see your video, and you let their games take photos of you for the photo strip at the end of the match. They may save their photo strip for their own personal use.

Our game

The game, its art, its code and the Pose Party name belong to us. You may play the game. You may not copy, sell or reuse any of it without our permission.

Links to other sites

The game links to a few other websites, such as the maker's LinkedIn page. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Copyright

If you think something in Pose Party uses your work without permission, email [email protected] with the details, and we will look into it.

Ending access

We can block or end anyone's access at any time, for example if they break these terms.

No promises

We provide the game "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will work without errors, stay online, or recognize every pose. We are not responsible for delays or outages caused by things outside our control, such as problems with our hosting or network providers.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury that comes from using the game. This includes injury while moving, anything other players say, show or do, and loss of data. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

To the extent the law allows, if you break these terms and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you are responsible for that claim.

Which laws apply

Pose Party is run from Ontario, Canada. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your own local courts. Nothing in these terms takes away a protection that the consumer laws of your own country or province give you.

The rest of the agreement

These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Pose Party. If a court finds part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer these terms to someone who takes over Pose Party; you may not transfer them to anyone else.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
